AWS S3 uses API key authentication. Send your credentials directly via the connect endpoint:

Check Status
Verify whether your AWS S3 connection is active and credentials are valid:
GET /connect/v1/providers/aws_s3/status

Disconnect
Remove the AWS S3 connection and revoke stored credentials:
DELETE /connect/v1/providers/aws_s3/disconnect
